I wanted to announce a new project I’m incredibly thankful to be a part of, the new single from my longtime homey and collaborator, El*A*Kwents.
The Emerald Ray features raps from both El*A*Kwents and indie hip hop legend REKS and is produced by yours truly, wellis of the green.
It will also feature a b-side to the single, in a nod to the 90’s when singles were something to behold, a release in their own right, and almost always contained a b-side. A leftover of the days of vinyl, no doubt. The b-side will also be produced by me.
This collaboration between El and I is just a small taste of what’s in store for 2026 and beyond. I won’t ask you to tell your friends, or buy the album, I simply ask you give it a chance and see if it vibes with you.
