Initially the color contrast between the blue windows and the green plants in the foreground caught my eye. But the more I look at the photo, the more I am drawn to the plight of the bushes growing through the fence. Despite blatant attempts to constrain and oppress them; mainly through the pieces of a processed past, they persist and grow innately towards the light. How’s that for a not-so-veiled note to self?
