A few days ago I found myself walking the streets of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, camera in hand. Usually I bring one with me just about everywhere I go. And usually I’m just taking photos of whatever catches my eye. I suppose this walk was no different in that regard, but this was the first time in a long time I hit the streets with the intention to shoot. I plan on processing the rest of the images and putting together a gallery, and maybe even a narrative, of the walk in its entirety. Now that I think about it, maybe I’ll revitalize my Series of Things zine and make one of those as well? Who knows for sure, but for now, here is an image of a gas guzzling hummer sitting in the harsh afternoon light eagerly waiting to be driven to the nearest strip mall, again.
